Tanah Lot Sunset Temple Tour
Bali's most photographed temple at golden hour — a sea shrine on a rock, framed by crashing Indian Ocean surf.
The day
Tanah Lot is the temple you've seen on every Bali postcard — and at sunset it's genuinely as stunning as the photos promise. The shrine sits on a rocky outcrop that becomes an island at high tide, with Indian Ocean waves breaking around it. Made times the afternoon so you arrive before the crowds for photos, then stay through golden hour when the sky goes orange behind the silhouette. On the way we stop at Taman Ayun, a royal water temple with far fewer tourists and surprisingly photogenic moat gardens. You'll finish with dinner at a clifftop seafood warung overlooking the beach — grilled snapper, rice, a cold Bintang, the ocean in your ears.
