Nusa Penida Day Trip

The day

Nusa Penida is the island everyone posts about — and it earns the hype. The cliffs are taller, the water is clearer, and the pace is wilder than mainland Bali. You'll take a fast boat from Sanur in the morning, meet a local driver on the island (Made coordinates everything in advance), and spend the day chasing the west coast's most dramatic viewpoints. Kelingking Beach with its T-Rex-shaped cliff is the headliner, but Angel's Billabong tidal pool and Broken Beach arch are just as spectacular. If the day allows, you'll stop at Crystal Bay for swimming or snorkeling before the late-afternoon boat back. This one's a long day, but the payoff is views you will not forget.

1. 06:00

   Hotel pickup

   Early pickup from South Bali, drive to Sanur harbour.

2. 07:30

   Fast boat

   30-minute crossing to Nusa Penida.

3. 09:00

   Kelingking Beach

   Viewpoint over the T-Rex cliff (optional steep hike down).

4. 11:00

   Angel's Billabong & Broken Beach

   Two neighbouring cliff formations at Pasih Uug.

5. 13:00

   Lunch

   Beachside warung on the west coast.

6. 14:30

   Crystal Bay

   Swim, snorkel, or just relax on the sand.

7. 16:30

   Return boat

   Fast boat back to Sanur.

8. 18:00

   Hotel dropoff

   Back at your hotel by early evening.
